Klein Tools 5278N-28D Description

The Klein 5278N-28D Lineman's deluxe full-floating body belt features a 1-3 / 4-inch (44-mm) wide 6-ply Klein-Kurd belt strap covered with top-grain harness leather for long-lasting use that incorporates a 5-Inch (127 mm) rolled-edge leather belt cushion for maximum comfort when leaning back. The Latino-leather belt pad is laced and stitched with two pocket tabs. The 5278N-28D features a long lasting 1-1 / 2-inch (38 mm) wide double-riveted leather tool loops, four suspender rings, a tape thong, two-way knife snap, and a glove-bag ring. The body belt is equipped with full-floating D-ring web strap with straight double-bar D-rings. The forged circle D-rings have a corrosion-resistant finish and are proof-loaded to meet OSHA requirements. The belt has a D-to-D (hipbone to hipbone plus 2-inch) size of 71-cm, a minimum length of 45-Inch, measures 49-inch to the center hole distance, and has a maximum length of 53-Inch. Klein body belts meet or exceed applicable ASTM and CSA Standards and OSHA requirements. Note: Klein body belts are for positioning applications only and should not be used alone as a personal fall-arrest system (per OSHA 1926-subpart M).
