I like the new style of this pump. I replaced it from the old style. Definaley recomend for anybody in the market. Ridgid makes great tools I have been using as a commercial plumber for the past 25 years.

The new style oiler from Ridgid is absolutely horrible. This certainly gets the job done. The tried and true style that Ridgid decided to discontinue for whatever reason is a much better pump handle. The new style handles leaks all over the place, oil on your hands, running down the hose, all over the floor, everywhere, even when you tighten the retaining nut every other use!!! We now buy used “old style” handles online and put them on brand new oilers. We do not like swimming in oil when cutting threads. Feel free to email me if you would like to know more! This is my first tool review, but I have some opinions on a few other pipe products also. If you need an oiler pump handle buy a used old style one and save yourself the headache!
