The price on this anvil was $400.00 cheaper than anyone else I found. It is a first class anvil.

For 15 years, I had a 220 lb. Peddinghaus 2 horned anvil and sold it off when my kids were born. Years later, they are out of college and I want to get back into smithing. This time, I got the big daddy size with the upsetting block on the side. Toolup's price was amazingly cheap for such a great quality tool.

I love this anvil. It fit perfectly in the corner of my bedroom where I forged numerous weapons and armor. This worked especially well with swords and breast plates. One drawback I encountered was the extreme weight of this anvil. I brought it into my bathtub to clean it and it busted a hole in the porcelain. Although I've not yet tried, I'm sure it would be perfect for dropping on enemies. This is one hell of an anvil.
