Problem using it with a lift

Pros: Well made, quality tool.
Cons: None really, but ...

I bought it specifically to use with the Incra lift. I was told it would work in that lift, and the manual for the lift clearly stated that it would work and even showed implementation details for this model.

In practice, however, the router's depth adjustment screw assembly built into the motor housing HAD to come off before it would fit into the Incra lift.

Unless, I completely missed something, this was not discussed anywhere in the manual and came as a real disappointment.

So, I purchased the Makita 1100 as a dediated router for my table/lift and will use the Mlwaukee for hand-held operations. This is a better scenario in the long run anyway but I wasn't thrilled with having to buy another router so soon.
