This is one of those tools that is not always needed, but nice to have. Most of my steel work is done on a drill press, but it is a major benefit to have this portable press when the plates are too large to move. It has more than paid for itself, versus hiring a 3rd party vendor to cut out 12-30 3" holes. Well worth it.
