My daughter should write this review because she immediately claimed the jacket as hers. She tells me that it's water and wind proof. The battery lasts a good 5hrs on a full charge on high setting. I'm sure it will last longer on lower settings. Battery is fully charged in less than 30 min. The jacket with battery is less than 3lbs. I may have to order another for myself.
