My brother has had a corded Hole Hawg for years, and it's an absolute beast of a right-angle hole saw. So, having a bunch of M28 tools and batteries, I decided to go for this as a cordless substitute. It has about as much torque as I would ever want (for example, I use it a lot with a paddle to mix thinset and mortar in a 5-gallon bucket).
BUT: the unpleasant surprise was the "0-400/0-1000" speed range spec. Unlike the Hole Hawg, there is no range selector. You have to remove the right-angle head, reverse it, and re-install it. I am unable to get the head off mine at all, but even if I could, it's a bench-top job, not a job-site quick change. So I think it's a misleading spec. For all practical purposes, it's a 0-400 rpm tool, so it's okay for paddle-mixing or large-diameter hole saws. Just don't think you're going to use it with 3/4 inch spade bits.
