The Max Burton® Induction Griddle is ideally constructed to work with induction cooktops, but will work with any cooking surface or in the oven. The unique induction-ready base allows conductivity between the die cast aluminum cooking surface and the induction cooktop. Features two coats of Xylan®, a non-stick PFOAfree surface, and heat-proof silicone handles. All parts are dishwasher safe and oven-proof to 500ºF. Aluminum is one of the best materials to disburse heat, but alone it is not compatible with induction cooking. The Induction Griddle solves that with a built-in induction-ready base that allows conductivity between cookware and cooktop. Now the benefits of induction cooking including increased efficiency, lower energy consumption, and faster cooking are possible.
