the cooktop works great with cast iron cookware. It is very slow to heat when using the induction disc with cookware that a magbet cannot attract to

| Pros: | fast, time saving |

The Max Burton cooktop is wonderful, in addition to being able to unthaw and cook roast in a shorter time, a favorite meal is nuggets, corn and fries and I can prepare the corn in the microwave while cooking the nuggets and fries on the induction cooktop in about 5 minutes. Clean up is a breeze. I purchased a deep fryer and I don't use it anymore because the Max Burton can heat the oil faster and at a higher temperature, I would love to have another one, then I would never use my electric cooktop. I have it by my stove and use it everyday, I use it before I use the stove because I know it is going to save me time.

| Pros: | Compact, easy to use. solidly built, fast heat ups and cooking time, induction capable , kitchen stays cooler in Summer heat. |

I find that this cooktop heats pasta water roughly 2x the same on my gas stove. It is a very useful item to have in the kitchen or if you have guests with food that needs to be quickly and freshly made on the cook top.
Nice product, designed well and executed well!
Would highly recommend!

| Pros: | gives me an extra burner in the house, is portable for me to take to a class I teach |
| Cons: | can't keep a low simmer |
| Recommended: | Yes |
I bought this specifically to use to teach a cooking class and for that, it will work well. It heats up quickly and looks nice. The only problem is that it is hard to keep a low simmer. On the lowest setting, it is practically off. On the next highest setting, it is too much of a boil.
