I bought one of these 11 years ago and finally wore it out. The one I just purchased as a replacement is just like the older one, no changes that I could see. Why change a good thing. This is the best random orbit sander I have ever owned. You buy one of these and you don't need any other random orbit sander. Fantastic product!!!!!
