Did my homework . . . Makita engine is used by two other manufacturers . . . three total. Makita has service center in Southern California and they answer their phone. Toolup had blower delivered in two days using standard (free) shipping (double boxed). Added a little oil (level low . . . all reviews noted this) and gas . . . engine started right up. Runs quiet . . . and now my clean up is a breeze. Saves me time and does a better job than a push broom. If you are on the fence . . . go ahead . . . you will be glad you did.
