Pros: Just a great design.
Cons: It has a pause to the start up

This tool is great. I have had many jigsaws and I love the barrel grip. Makita also puts lights on everything and it really helps with my scribe lines. On and off switch is convenient. The only thing that threw me a little off at first is that when you switch it on it waits about a second to start.
