| Pros: | Fast, quite complete test of 120 VAC, 1-phase outlets and circuits. |
| Cons: | limited to 120 VAC, 1-phase; wont die til 250, but not much use above 150 V |
| Recommended: | Yes |
Fast, fairly complete test of 120 VAC, 1-phase outlets and circuits. Effectively limited to 120 VAC, 1-phase, despite 250V spec. Not much use above 150 V or for three-phase work; individual 120V branches can be tested, and this has value, but for example a 208V WYE can be usefully tested one phase at a time, but a (floating) 240V DELTA cannot. Respecting these limitations, it's a useful tool.
