Sure, the cord could be longer. It's cheap enough that I can have one on each floor of the house. BUT I didn't buy it for my house, I bought it for my store. Main problem there is getting the girls to run it.

The vacuum does a very nice job on the carpets. The hose is rather flimsy and too short to reach higher surfaces.

This is my second Hoover Widepath. It has so much power, it just about sucks the carpet up off the floor. I use it in my carpet cleaning business. Its lightweight and easy to maneuver. I highly recommend it.
