My company cleans apartments to get them ready for new residents. My wish list was to have a long cord so we plug it in once, have a hose so we can do insides of drawers and cabinets, bagless so we can dump it after every apartment without the cost of bags, lightweight for loading and unloading in my truck and carrying up and down stairs, and quiet so we don't disturb residents in neighboring apartments. I got all of that in this vacuum. It has the hush feature that I don't think is any quieter than regular, but in regular mode it's quieter than the three other brands we have had in the past. The cord is long, but it has a plug near the vacuum to easily change the cord if it becomes damaged or if you need to change it for a longer or shorter extension cord. The cord it comes with is a bit too big for the hooks for winding it so the last couple of loops tend to fall off. I do wish the brushes turned off so they wouldn't be running while we're using the hose, but it's not a big deal. I'm very happy with the power of suction and manuverability. The fold down handle gives us more options for placement in my truck. The power boost button is nice when we get to an extra dirty area. The canister fills up after one dirty apartment so it is a little small, but I'd rather occasionally have to empty it twice than have it be heavier. This is an older model so I may buy one or two more before they stop being available, even if it's before we need them.
