I work with 24 gauge stainless sheet and have had little to no luck with explaining to the folks at home improvement stores that rated for metal and rated for stainless are two different things. These bits work. Go slow, keep your pressure even, and keep some water or tapping fluid on hand, they will heat up after a bit, but the final result is worth the wait. I had to drill 50 holes for a project with one bit, and each one is perfect and bur free. No sanding or fish work what so ever. I love these, am so happy I bought the set instead of just the one I needed. I would happily pay whatever Greenlee wanted for a set of smaller bits for my regular work as the pilot bit goes through the sheet like it is not even there.
