I have been wanting this for a few years now. I finally coughed up the money and bought it. Well worth the money. Reatively easy to set up. I can see myself using this much more than I had imagined. I researched this saw a lot and found the best price here at Tool Up, I also found a 20 dollar coupon online. Great saw at a great price.

This saw is fantastic. I bought it to build a built-in cabinet/bookcase out of mdf & it made the job a lot easier. I am an advanced amateur with some commercial background when I was in my 20's. I have used all sorts of commercial & home made straight edges over the years & this is far better.
This tool bridges the gap for those that don't have/want a large cabinet saw or big outfeed tables.
It is easy to put the track right on your mark & make a smooth straight cut - almost without looking. I sanded the finished edges with 240 grit only after cutting.
I haven't tried a Festool -- but the Dewalt had features that I liked better:
Inches instead of mm on scale
Ability to cut on it's side

| Pros: | Precise cuts |
| Cons: | Track should be longer |

This is a great tool for making precise and perfectly straight rips with the saw and rabbets and dadoes with the router attachment. Spring for the Dewalt clamps because any top clamping of the rail interferes with the saw. My only complaint is that the track is a little short for ripping 8' plywood because the adjustable front and rear guides on the saw do not fully engage for the entire length of the cut.
