I have never owned a table saw before but I have had the opportunity to use several. I have limited space in my garage and this saw and stand combination fit my need perfectly. After doing some research, viewing saws in local hardware store and reading the reviews on other web sites I decided this was would be my best option.
I received the saw in the scheduled time but the box was completely destroyed; I was afraid the saw was going to be badly damaged but the only damage I could detect was a very minor mar on the edge of the cuting table. Heck' I'm going to scratch it worse than that through normal wear and tear.
As for the saw itself, it works like a dream. All of the power it needs and it cuts straight too. I did have to align the rip fence but I expected I would need to do that. My dado blade set works well too; I purchased the dado throat plate separately and manage to get the newer version.
The instructions for the folding stand were missing but that really didn't matter because assembly and saw attachment was straightforward. All hardware was present.
