I had recently retired my old DeWalt sawzall that I bought in 1997. I used the heck out of it, and was none-to-kind to it....I loved that saw! Anyway, she's finally had enough. I replaced it with a Bosch. Now, there is nothing wrong with the Bosch, but when I saw the new DeWalt for $75, I just had to get another one! The four-way blade holder is nice (albeit unnecessary). The only drawback is that they made the case quite a bit smaller than the old one, so you can't fit much for blades in there, and you can't store the say with a blade in the chuck.

This is a great Recip Saw for small jobs. It is all I need for work around the house. Recip jobs make sawing a lot easier when you don't need fine cuts. Toolup Delivered on the day they promised and it was packaged well. I have made several purchases with no problems.

I really like this saw. I do Kitchen Remodels and use nearly daily. It would be nice if the cord was a little longer but I just hook it to an extension cord. I have probably ripped out 30 kitches since buying it 2 years ago. It is still rocking and i have no issues.

The DW304P has never had a problem cutting or lacked power for any cutting job yet. The quick change blade is nice. One important issue (with mine) is the shaft is loose and the blade pinch is weak with too much play resulting in a floppy blade. This prevents any hope of an even somewhat precision cut. Blade and shaft are so annoyingly loose that I'm going to attempt a return even though it's been a while since purchase. I thought I had the wrong blades for the longest time, but I think it's just a poor design.
