I live in a loft in New York. This is great because I do not have anywhere to store a regular ladder

| Pros: | Compact ladder that fits under your arm while getting you to height. |
| Cons: | Holds water when it gets wet and stops functioning properly. Floppy when fully extended |

This is a tool I use every day. I love that its a 14ft ladder that I can tuck under my arm. I have found that they don't hold up to daily use and have to replace it every year. They also don't do well in the rain. The water collects in the bottom cylinder and doesn't drain leading to poor function. I have modified mine by drilling holes in the feet to allow the water to drain. The feet also slip, dramatically on Trex/ recycled material decks.
For the price its not a bad tool but you need to make sure that its opened completely and properly positioned.
