Ridgid Offers an Integrated Transport Cart and Telescoping Handle With the 24853 Drum Machine
The Ridgid 24853 K-400 Drum Machine with C-32 IW Cable & Gloves has Ridgid’s unique “Integrated Transport Cart”, this cart allows for easy movement to and from the job site. Transport is aided with heavy-duty, over-molded rubber wheels, that easily navigate over bumps and up multiple stairs. the “Integrated Telescoping Handle” is built into the drum machine, providing an optional high-handle height, which comes in handy when needed during transport. Additionally, the handle locks into the low position during drain cleaning operation or during transport to minimize space requirements.
The Ridgid Drum Machine 24853 Has a Cable Control System, Autofeed, and a Solid Core Cable
Ridgid designed the 24853 Drum Machine with a cable control system that causes the drum to stop spinning when the blade becomes lodged into a blockage. It limits the potential for the cable to flip over into the drum, and helps to indicate to the operator when blockages are encountered. Furthermore, the “Solid Core” Cable uses a tough 3/8″ or 1/2″ integral wound (IW) solid core cable, that is designed to be rugged, as well as completely kink resistant. Each cable size comes in several available lengths and utilizes a large variety of the RIDGID quick-connect cutters. The 24853 Drum Machine also has an auto feed feature which is offered as an accessory. The automatic cable feed option is a Ridgid design patent, it automatically powers the cable in and out of the drain and sets up to reverse the direction of the auto feed by directing the cable back into the drum.
