Ridgid 23498 Model RC-1625 Ratchet Action Plastic Pipe & Tubing Cutter
Cutting PVC and PEX on the jobsite just became easier with the use of a Ridgid 23498 Model Ratchet Action Plastic Pipe & Tubing Cutter RC-1625. It has the capacity to cut 1/2″ to 1-5/8″ of all differing types of plastic pipe and tubing, and works hard not to bust your hand while cutting the pipe.
The Ridgid Ratchet 23498 has been made with a heavy duty durable aluminum construction for heavy duty use. Designed with ergonomic grips on the bottom handle which are spaced at 1/2″ increments, specifically put there to act as a quick pipe measuring scale. Storage is not an issue with the easy turn-thumb latch for reliable storage. The X-CEL Quick Change Blade is included and has an easy pin system, which enables the Ratchet’s user to change the X-CEL Quick Change blades in a matter of mere seconds without the hassle of tools, thus saving your valuable time and of course increasing productivity. The pin on this ratchet also solves the problem of lost clips and misplaced screws during a blade change. The Ridgid Ratchet RC-1625 boasts a 1 5/8″ O.D. capacity, meaning it can easily cut all plastic pipe and tubing including PVC, CPVC, PEX, polyethylene, polybutylene, and even a rubber hose. Additionally, this ratchet has a burrless cutting operation which helps to provide a square cut.
