| Pros: | Can run on MAPP or Propane, good design and placement of controls, inexpensive |

Good torch for light to medium-duty homeowner work (such as soldering copper tubing, light brazing). The trigger start and the flame "lock" are positioned quite well. Well worth it's money.
But for frequent work consider using a torch with a seperate gas cannister (refillable),like a Turbo Torch. These are just as hot, and cheaper to operate. MAPP gas is expensive.
The will burn either propane or MAPP gas -- but use MAPP gas -- the work will go a lot faster.
This is a good torch primarily for an experienced homeowner doing repair work.
